When you have a great idea, it becomes your duty to execute it. We are specialists in bringing retail ideas into reality and while being part of such a creative industry, as the retail one is, we are always ready to face any challenge. A few months ago, we successfully collaborated with Majid Al Futtaim in a very special project, their first store as a brand, “Something like THAT”, located at Mall of the Emirates. It reflects the unexpected and introduced customers into a new way of doing things where raw materials such as bricks and wood could appear as futuristic and sophisticated.
Now, we have great news to share: the second store has arrived, and we made it happen! The first retail project served as a test and due to the amazing results, we were selected to build the second one. The concept was similar in terms of working with unexpected materials, but this time it needed to be a source of inspiration, a special place where people would love to spend time. It is Located at Mirdif City Centre and its huge space gave us the perfect canvas to execute the most eccentric ideas in a very productive way.
We transformed the big space into a place where fashion, art, music and all types of inspiration merge to give a new shopping experience. Following the guidelines set by the first store, such as “THAT” yellow, we managed to give continuity to the project and can now say that we brought a new brand to life. Starting with the scouting of the location and the selection of the right materials, this type of project requires perfect planning and coordination of a team of retail specialists and contractors, as everyone’s inputs are equally required.
Communication is key as every detail is highly thought of before implementing it, but the biggest challenge are the working hours, since all stores are built at night. Nonetheless, ambitious projects like this one are always intriguing and are what drives our team. Curiosity also plays a huge role, as thinking outside the box is encouraged and highly needed since the finished product will involve industrial elements that will need to look posh, it is the definition of an “effortless look”, a quite interesting combination.
Our experience allows us to build new spaces in record time and with the highest quality requirements reason why it is not a coincidence that we work with the biggest brands in the region and our projects can be seen at the most relevant shopping centers. This fit out project was quite challenging, but it represents a milestone for us as a team and of course, as a company. It proves that our projects will always be built according to our customers’ needs and will represent our values without a doubt.
